Google can read flash files so if you have a website that's filled with video and flash files then don't forget that Google can crawl that as well. When optimising a website we do repeat to our clients that content is very important, which it is, but flash can be optimised.
If you have text within your videos you should add keywords within that text to help build up your keyword density on a page that doesn't have a lot of other content. Obviously you won't be able to add headers in the file but you can add text and keywords and it will make a difference.
We have discussed previously about optimising other documents, for example pdfs, and flash files are very similar, you still need to name the file appropriately and add meta data for that file if it shows on a new page.
Content is still the king of SEO but as specialists in this area we know that you don't want to ruin the design of your website with heaps of content where you don't want it, so we make the most of what we have. We can optimise a website with a great design as well as being SEO friendly, if a company tells you that you have to re-build your website to improve rankings then be wary of their skills, have a look at our proven results to see for yourself what we can do.
