Can I provide Reciprocal Links?

One of the main problems with link building projects is finding websites that will add a one-way link pointing to your site without asking a link to theirs in return. It isn't beneficial for non-directory websites to have many external links on their websites because it will drain their Google PageRank and make their own site less relevant and therefore could cause drop in rankings.

As we have discussed before, having lots of one-way links to your site is a huge part of SEO and will help to increase the PR of your website. The best way to look at it is that these links each count as a vote, so by giving a link back to those other websites is cancelling out their vote to you and nobody wins, unless of course one link has a higher PR value.

Providing reciprocal links is not going to help your off-page optimisation SEO project, it will make your website less relevant and won't help your cause of making the website look authoritive over other websites.
