During an SEO project we will spend a lot of time looking at your website code and optimising it for the search engine spiders to crawl. There are often many changes that need to be made to the website within the code and these changes can be made extremely difficult if your website does not have an SEO friendly source code.

If you have a website from a high quality development company then it will have been created in house by a software team, in comparison buying a cheap website solution from an 'off the shelf' template store won't have been developed in a good way but just a cheap way, meaning the site is likely to full of excess code which isn't good for SEO. Small code changes like headers, meta data or moving styles can be made so much more difficult with a poorly put together site code. If your website is developed by experienced developers with knowledge of search engine optimisation then changes are simple and quick, and code can be amended to specific requirements without any barriers or problems.
