Yahoo! is the second most popular search engine in world receiving millions of hits each day. Search engine's are the gods of SEO so here's a couple of tips for optimisating on Yahoo;

Yahoo's algorithms are almost totally one-sided and rely on on-page optimisation. In comparison to Google, Yahoo pays little attention the quality of backlinks. As long as you have some backlinks so you do look like an authority then you'll get by on Yahoo!, their robots don't care much for high PageRank or well themed links.

On-page SEO factors like headers, meta data and relevant copy work wonders on Yahoo! so it's important to keep on your toes and update your website with good blogs regularly.

Their algorithms are also very keen on RSS feeds, add and update your RSS feeds regularly and Yahoo will be sure to rank you well.
