With a variety of different search engines now available to choose from it is sometimes tricky to find the search engine that is best for your needs. Each search boasts to bring certain results for your search query that are more relevant than the other search engines. With the recent developments with the major search engines you need to know which search engines you need to target.

In terms of the largest and most popular search engine around, Google still reigns supreme and is still way ahead of the other search engines in terms of the amount of traffic from the search engine and the tools they have on offer. This means that your SEO campaign will usually be focused on ranking well in Google but others should be considered. The recent news about the merger of Yahoo and Bing has meant that time must be spent trying to get good ranking results on both of the search engines, especially Bing. Bing’s search engine looks more at the on page optimisation of the site than the likes of Google, which means that more attention need to be paid to on page factors in order to rank well.
