New Bing Maps Released

We all know about Google maps but with the launch of Bing we now have an alternative, Bing maps complete with street view. Microsoft are using silver light multimedia technology to provide us with easy zoom funtionality and 3D like images.

With Bing maps like Google's version you can find locations all over the world no mattter what the area. The new Bing maps have given Google fresh new and healthy competition, giving you the ability to search street maps, cities, businesses and landmarks.

Along with the normal functions that we are all used to Bing maps also provides you with extra features such as drawing on maps, location finder which allows to pick up your current location, 3D terrain details and even traffic viewing in some areas.

Now with the launch of the new Bing maps there is even more that the major search engines can offer you and with this competition they are going to offer you more and more in the future.
