1. Two major search engines - with Microsoft launching Bing early last year it is fast becoming a two search engine race, Google still has the biggest section of the market and as it is still growing in the United States it does not look like they are going to me knocked off the top spot anytime soon but the race between Bing and Yahoo is on and we predict that in the coming year Bing is only going to stenghten its position.

2. SEO Spending - we believe that with the current trends in SEO and the increasing competitive nature for seach engine rankings companies are only going to spend more, it is a fact that internet marketing is becoming more and more popular as companies realise that it is the way forward and so the spending pattern is set to increase once again.

3. Social Media - social media and its optimisation is now a highly essential part of any SEO project, social networking websites such as Face Book and Twitter are a great way to increase your brand awareness and , 2010 will see a drastic increase in companies using social media marketing to promote products and increase sales.
