Search engines will class your website as a leader in the market if you have a high level of authority. So it is clear that websites with authority will benefit when it comes to search engine results pages (SERPPs), however the question is how do you go about earning this authority?
Earning authority on a site should not be viewed as a simple duty, but there are a number of steps that can be taken to help boost its strength. It is also important to realise that earning authority can often be a bit of a slow burner when put into practise.
1. Include keywords in your domain name This can help search SEO immediately as it will help search engines highlight the relevance of your pages.
2. Correct structuring of the site Ensure all title, URL and header tags are appropriate and contain applicable keywords. Include internal links to help search engines crawl and determine the relevancy of each page.
3. Generate themed back links Can show strength in your website as other website will be referring to it. The more themed the external website is the more valuable it will be for building authority.
4. Having relevant content You can make it easier for search engines and customers to find your webpagees, If you are concerned about having too much information on one page, an additional step can be to implement a blog module. This way descriptive content can be added, and it also allows you space to report about any other industrial news. By implementing a blog module you will also be creating new content on your site, therefore favouring the search engines.
5. Develop and syndicate articles and press releases Constructive articles and press releases can bring quality back links by submitting them to directories, and gaining interest from the public
