Blog writing may be a large part of SEO but it is useless if not used in the right way. You may have spent ages researching to find that perfect keyword but what is the point of driving lots of traffic to your website if none of it is relevant? Without relevancy you have no sales. However help is at hand and SEO Junkies are here to tell you how to generate rich, relevant content and convert that traffic into sales.

Search engine optimisation is all about driving relevant traffic to your site. When choosing those top keywords it may be a good idea to look at what your competitors are doing. If you’re a small fish in a big pond it may be a good idea to choose a more niche market than your competitors. For instance, instead of going for “push bike” why not try “childrens push bike”? This will give you the chance to create very relevant SEO content. Furthermore, the longer a keyword is the more likely it is that those clicking on it will be further down the buying cycle as they’ll have something specific in mind to buy. Don’t go too long though! Three words is probably enough.

Do some research. Google Analytics is a fantastic tool and will show you what keywords people are coming in on and where they are coming to. This can help you decide which keywords you are performing well for and which you should carry out more search engine optimisation on.
