Search engines are forever evolving and because of this search engine optimisation or SEO techniques are constantly being adapted to keep up-to-date especially when it comes to keywords. One question people always ask is – Should I have lots of keywords all stuffed in the content on every page on the site or fewer keywords in relevant places?
SEO experts are constantly trying to work out which keyword techniques work best for their clients. You may think that loading a page with the same keywords over and over again in metatags and content is the perfect way to get your site noticed. However this is actually known as keyword stuffing and is an unethical search engine optimisation technique. In fact Google may even penalise a site for doing this as the content will not look natural. Instead, more attention should be spent on looking at the keyword to content ratio, making sure that in every paragraph you are only using a particular keyword twice or three times.
Any search engine optimisation expert will tell you that keywords are extremely important and making sure that they are relevant within your content is a must! When Google crawls through your site it will find your keywords and it will notice if their relevant or if there not! If you can perfect the art of keywords, where to put them, how many of them and where to link them ; your SEO strategy will be on the right course to improving your search engine rankings.
