Google Books Mobile
Written by: Diane | June 2nd, 2009Google Books have now created a mobile version of Google Books. If you have an iPhone you can go to http://books.google.com/m and start using Google Book search on your mobile device now.
When you do get on there you may notice there are many differences between the mobile version and the regular version, such as the look of it. However, the biggest difference is a technological one: Google are using OCR technology which basically means that if you use the regular Google Books it displays snippets of the page. But with viewing a book on a mobile device Google will try to extract the content using OCR and display the plain text and not a scanned version.
