Search will gradually become a more personalised epeierence for the end user, because search engine results will be based on a number factors such as, geographic location, previous search history, time of day and many more. Search is becoming intelligent - the search engines will ultimately know more about you. Google SearchWiki is the starting point for this which currently allows the internet user to move search results higher or lower within the rankings or even totally remove a result. Search engines are constantly learning about our search habbits which they can in turn use to refine future search results, for example an internet user types in the keyword 'tank'. Due to the internet user's previous search habbits the search engines know they are interested in 'fish tanks' and not 'army tanks', therefore they return results that are relevant to 'fish tanks'. For the internet user this a more personable experience and for the online business they are targeting the right customer first time.
