By looking at the search volume on particular keyword phrases, it may reveal a few subjects that people are interested in but may not have as many competitors for. By focusing your content on these topics it could bring some more conversions than just writing content on generic subjects.

Internal Links

Once you have written the keyword rich and relevant content it is a good idea to create internal links within the website. By using the keywords in the content as anchor text to other related pages on the website, it can help drive traffic to specific pages. This appeals to the search engines as it will show the search engines what are the main words on the page and it keeps the spiders crawling on your website.

Overall, the copy for the website must be written with search engine optimisation in mind but the copy must be interesting and adds value to the website. If users find the content either irrelevant or boring then they will click away from your website and go elsewhere.
