Business Development Manager

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Sales Director your main duties will include:

  • Generate and develop new business
  • Digesting and understanding the customer requirements
  • Creating quotes/proposals based on the customer requirements
  • Taking ownership of sales leads and following through until closure
  • Following up sales leads from the sales inboxes/telephone/exhibition shows on a daily basis
  • Farming own sales leads via the web and contacting these leads via outbound dialling
  • Hit sales targets

Essential Skills:

  • Hungry to close sales leads and earn commission
  • Aptitude to learn our solutions
  • Ability to listen to the customers issues/pains and provide solutions from a sales perspective
  • Willing to pick up the phone and farm their own sales leads
  • Good written English and communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Hard working and dedicated to getting the job done properly

Desirable knowledge, although not essential:

  • Strong interest/passion in ecommerce/web/SEO
  • Previous experience of solution selling
